Compact electromechanical cylinders Series 3E

Sizes 20, 32
Series 3E cylinders are electric rod actuators that combine a screw and motor to generate accurate linear motion. These are an alternative to pneumatic cylinders but possessing all the benefits of electric actuators in terms of speed, ease of parameter setting and flexibility in handling different load sizes and formats. Their compact design ensures easy integration with the machine, without affecting performance. Robust and quick, these actuators are ideal for multi-position applications and can be used with external proximity switches for homing operations or allowing extra-stroke readings to be performed. Moreover, Series 3E can be supplied with the motor already assembled, to further reduce commissioning and wiring time. Series 3E electromechanical cylinders are the ideal solution for industrial applications that require rapid format changeovers or numerous production cycles. Their precision, reliability and flexibility, make these cylinders ideal for use in assembly lines, packaging systems or for material handling.

Compact electronic pressure switches / vacuum switches Series SWMN and SWMS

Ports: G1/8, M5 thread or Ø 4, 6 mm plug-in tube Measuring range: 0 ÷ -1 bar, 0 ÷ 1 bar with analog output, 0 ÷ -1 bar, 0 ÷ 6 bar with digital PNP output
The Series SWMN and SWMS vacuum/ pressure switches can be installed directly at the measuring point or pressure/ vacuum determination point in handling systems, thanks to its highly compact dimensions. Its reduced weight (only 50 grams with a 2 meter cable) and robust construction allow its installation on applications with high accelerations. The four types of connection enable a high flexibility and an easy installation inside machines or pneumatic cabinets.

Compact integral orifice flowmeter IOMaster FPD510

A fully coded, one-piece flowmeter that combines the features and benefits of integral orifice metering with a 3- or 5- valve instrument manifold and the latest ABB DP and multivariable transmitters.

Compact mini-cylinders Series 14

Single-acting Bores ø 6, 10, 16 mm and strokes 5, 10, 15 mm
With super-rapid fitting ø 4 and M5 port
Series 14 single-acting compact mini-cylinders have been designed for installation in very small spaces. The design allows the cylinders to be inserted into threaded blocks incorporated in the machine. All the minicylinders are supplied with a super-rapid fitting incorporated in a tube ø 4 or with a M5 thread. They are available in two versions with either a threaded or a non threaded piston rod.

Compact orifice flowmeter OriMaster FPD500

OriMaster is a compact orifice flowmeter that combines a wafer-mounted orifice carrier, integral manifold and transmitter into a single, fully-codable, orifice-based flowmeter.

Compact parallel grippers with T-guide Series CGSP

Single and double acting, magnetic, self-centering Sizes: 20, 25, 32, 40
Series CGSP grippers, available in 4 sizes (20, 25, 32 and 40) are parallel and double acting, self-centering and guided by means of a T-shaped sliding guide. Thanks to the materials and surface coating used, the gripper offers a high reliability. Moreover, the internal force transmission system is protected against the entrance of impurities by means of a steel cover so the gripper can also be used in dusty environments. Extreme compact dimensions, a light design and high positioning repeatability make this series of grippers particularly suitable for handling small items, even if high operating frequencies are required. Typical applications are pick & place, insertion, machine tending in the electronic components assembly sector, cosmetics & medical industry or in food packaging.

Compact wedge meter WedgeMaster FPD570

WedgeMaster compact wedge flow meters, offer a focus on providing solution-solving flowmeter systems, coupled to the latest in ABB transmitter technology.

Compensating cables/thermal cables

The temperature measurement using thermocouples requires the temperature of the cold junction to be measured in addition to the thermoelectric voltage. The cold junction temperature is acquired at the connection terminals of the evaluation electronics.

Compression fittings

Using compression fittings, mounting and removing temperature probes is easy. Another advantage is the variable insertion lengths. Different materials and threads can be selected for the combination with different protection tube diameters.

Connecting cables

Connecting cables with stranded copper conductors transmit measuring signals from RTD temperature probes, resistance transmitters, humidity transmitters, or measuring probes with a standard signal to measuring, control, and recording devices. They are also used for supply voltages for active measuring probes.
